Here’s how to use Enhance on Spotify and where it’s available.
What’s Enhance on Spotify?
Enhance is a feature that’ll change the way you find songs. Once you enable Enhance, Spotify will automatically add new songs that it thinks you’ll like based on what’s already on your playlist.
Enhance will add one new recommendation for every two of your songs, and you’ll get up to 30 new songs on your playlists. These recommendations will change every day, so you’ll always have something new to listen to.
These song recommendations won’t replace anything on your current playlist. You’ll be able to add any song you like, but once you turn Enhance off, your playlist will go back to how you had it before.
Where Will Enhance Be Available?
Enhance rolls out starting September 2021 for Android and iOS devices, but it won’t be available for everyone immediately.
Premium users from locations like the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Germany will have the feature first, with more countries supported in the following months.
How to Use Spotify Enhance
If you’re one of the lucky few who already have this feature available, using Enhance couldn’t be easier. Here’s what you need to do on Android or iOS:
Open Spotify. Select one of your playlists. Tap Enhance at the top of your playlist.
And that’s it! You’ll see new songs start to pop up on your playlist. You’ll know which songs are recommended because they have a small green icon below the song’s name. If you like any recommendations, you can easily add that song to your playlist by tapping on the plus icon to the right of the song on your playlist.
Likewise, if you want to reverse the effects of Enhance and disable the feature, just tap the Enhance button again and your playlist will go back to normal.

If you have the Enhance feature available, there’s nothing stopping you from finding your new favorite song. Of course, you don’t have to wait for Enhance to find your new music on Spotify—you can do it for yourself too!
